Oriental Beauty Oolong (Formosa Bai Hao)

Oriental Beauty Oolong (Formosa Bai Hao)

Oriental Beauty is also known as Formosa Bai Hao, white tip oolong, or champagne oolong. This heavily oxidized oolong tea is sourced from Taiwan. Oriental Beauty features dark brown leaves with silvery tips, and has notes of fruit, honey, and spice.

Cups Per Package

Oriental Beauty is carefully blended and packaged by hand in a reusable tin or a resealable kraft bag. Our 2.5 oz. tin or kraft bag makes approximately 40 cups of tea. Our 5 oz. kraft bag makes approximately 80 cups.

Ingredients

Oolong tea (Origin: Taiwan)

Tasting Notes

Medium-bodied and slightly astringent, with notes of fruit, honey, and spice.

How To Brew Oriental Beauty

Use 1 level teaspoon per 6 oz. water. Heat water until briskly steaming but not yet boiling, approximately 195 degrees. Steep for 2 to 3 minutes.

We recommend that you use a teapot, tea infuser, or tea filter. These brewing methods give the tea leaves enough room to expand as the tea steeps, resulting in a richer, more flavorful cup. This tea can be infused multiple times.

Oriental Beauty Caffeine Content

Oolong tea contains a moderate amount of caffeine, less than half as much as coffee per cup.

Oriental Beauty Benefits

Oolong tea boosts energy, helps with focus, and supports digestion.
